This is the artwork for Motorsport Manager Mobile 3. We decided on a different visual style for the latest mobile game.
The page is in two sections, the first part is a section of track shots from inside Unity. The second is shaders/tools written inside Unity to support the art style.
Clipping Shader - This shader allows the users to place a volume within the world which defines the bounding box of the map. Animated meshes will then clip out as they pass through this volume.
Tree Shader - Cheap tree shading for mobile that allows randomisation of the scale and type of tree. Artists can author a texture atlas and the shader will randomise the uv based on it's world position. To support this I also added a tool that drops the trees onto the terrain and another that generates AO or a random colour to break up the repetitiveness of the trees.
